"As we pass through the trials of life, let us try to keep an eternal perspective, let us not complain, let us become even more prayerful, let us serve others, and let us forgive one another." -James B. Martino

Unity... It's our choice: Diversity Camp '09
This year I was given the opportunity to attend Diversity Camp! It was definitely an interesting experience. One of the rules we were given when we first got to camp was the rule of "confidentiality." So we aren't aloud to tell about most of the experiences we had at camp. But I learned a lot, and for the most part I had a really good time. I must say I have never been so grateful for my friend Hilary in my life.
Well, my name's Cassie. I am 17 years old and I'm a Senior at Valley. I am a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love music: I play the clarinet in the high school band, holding the position of section leader during marching season, or first chair during concert; I play the piano, for my own enjoyment as well as to accompany my church and school choirs; I also sing alto in various choirs. I am known for my "Mormon cookies," and I have been asked to open a bakery for my friends once I graduate. ;) I love children, especially babies. Babysitting is so much fun, and I cannot wait to get married and have a family of my own. My friends play a major role in my life. Spending time with them keeps me going. I may complain a lot, but I really do love my life. :)
SO Aaron was there?? Hmmm... he totally hit on me one day. lol.
ReplyDeleteI have a story to tell you about that. :]
